TimeBinControl
This repository contains schematics and programs that can be used to control a strongly imbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer based on a Raspberry Pi shield. For instance, the interferometer can convert polarization entanglement from an SPDC source to a time-bin entanglement.
The control electronics can measure temperature through a Wheatstone bridge and a 20k NTC resistor. The control voltage is applied through an audio DAC and heating wire. Additionally, phase shifts can be produced by a current-controlled phase shifter, such as the Phoenix Photonics variable phase shifter.
Moreover, it includes a Python (Qt) based GUI for controlling the hardware through TCP/IP.
